I Wish You Were There....Today was the day. Twenty-six years old and I’m finally getting married. Mom was so happy when Ben proposed to me. Tears were in her eyes when he asked her permission. At least, that was what Ben told me. I’d believe it. It was Mom after all. I’m sure Dad would have done the same. Dad…I Wish You Were There....
Mom was the one who went with me to pick out my dress. She helped me put it on today, too. It isn’t anything fancy. Just a simply white dress with a few petticoats underneath to make it poof out. No lace, no beads or sequins. It’s not even a silky fabric. It has thick straps to keep the top from falling down. I bet Dad
